Light City Baltimore is now accepting proposals for ideas and experiences for LightCityU, an innovation conference focused on social change that will take place during America’s first international light festival. Premiering March 28-April 3, 2016, the inaugural Light City Baltimore will be the first large-scale international light festival in the United States featuring art, music and innovation programming and will be a platform to shine a light on Baltimore’s innovation and creative communities.
From March 28 through April 2, LightCityU brings together influencers and visionaries from across six industry sectors: EdTech, Health Innovation, Sustainability, Social Enterprise, Creative Industries and Makers to explore ways to power social change. LightCityU aims to be a catalyst for change by bringing together business innovators, thought-leaders and change-makers to explore the latest technologies and creative practices that will help build a more responsible and equitable society. LightCityU will feature off-site events hosted by partner organizations. Those interested in hosting an experience should submit a proposal through the Call for Experiences found on www.lightcity.org/lcu.
