Name: Public Art for the Lesner Bridge Replacement

Summary
The Public Art Virginia Beach Foundation invites experienced artists or artist teams to provide site-specific public art for the Lesner Bridge Replacement Project. Up to five finalists will be selected to develop a conceptual proposal for the project. Each selected artist/artist team will be given an honorarium of $1,000 to create the proposal.
Through a contract with the City of Houston General Services Division (GSD), Houston Arts Alliance (HAA) is charged with managing the selection process for the commission of an artist or artist team to develop sculpture or sculptural interventions for the exterior space of the Alice M. Young Neighborhood Branch Library. HAA is also charged with contracting the finalist to complete the project.
