Terrault Contemporary is excited to announce its its first Juried Exhibition, ‘Special Combo’, on view from December 4th, 2015 – January 9th, 2016 with an Opening Reception on December 4th, 7-10pm. The deadline for submissions is November 7th, 2015 at 11:59PM with an application fee of $15 payable through Submittables.
Artomatic 2015 is happening this Fall. Artomatic in partnership with Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission is presenting a six week long exhibit in Hyattsville featuring all genres of visual, creative and performing art. Professional development workshops, tours, seminars and themed events are also held throughout the exhibition.
Artomatic is well-known for transforming empty spaces into vibrant arts communities that create unique and exciting events for tens of thousands of visitors – all FREE. Anyone can show art at Artomatic – it is non-juried and art is selected on a first-come, first serve basis. It is simply a great way to discover new art!
Every night of the event, thousands of people visit Artomatic to discover new art, grab a drink, listen to music, go on dates, and mingle with the creative community. No matter what kind of creative events you like, you’ll find something to like at Artomatic

BROMO ARTS DISTRICT ELECTRICAL BOX REDESIGN
APPLICATION DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 4, 2015
Bromo Tower Arts & Entertainment, Inc. (BTAE) and Maryland Art Place (MAP) are excited to announce a call to Maryland-based artists and designers for the creative redesign of 11 electrical boxes along Howard Street stretching from Lombard to Centre Street! Transforming these underutilized boxes will visually enhance the Bromo Arts District’s physical environment through engaging public art and will encourage visitors, employees, residents and more to explore the District’s many cultural offerings. Boxes are located along the light rail path and benefit from significant public transit, pedestrian and auto traffic!
Light City Baltimore is now accepting proposals for ideas and experiences for LightCityU, an innovation conference focused on social change that will take place during America’s first international light festival. Premiering March 28-April 3, 2016, the inaugural Light City Baltimore will be the first large-scale international light festival in the United States featuring art, music and innovation programming and will be a platform to shine a light on Baltimore’s innovation and creative communities.
The Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts is now accepting applications for the 39th annual Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar! Farmers, concessionaires and bazaar vendors can find applications and guidelines online at www.promotionandarts.org. Participants must apply by Thursday, December 31, 2015. Current vendors at the 2015 Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar must reapply for 2016. The market’s 2016 season runs Sundays from April 17 through December 18. Located on Saratoga Street between Holliday and Gay streets, underneath the Jones Falls Expressway (JFX), the Baltimore Farmers’ Market & Bazaar is presented by Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and managed by the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts.
Maryland’s largest producers-only market offers a vast quantity of seasonal produce, meats, seafood, dairy, baked goods, plants and flowers. Additionally, a variety of food vendors offer made-to-order items such as pit beef, omelets and breakfast burritos, crepes, wood fired pizzas, pies and quiches, soups, noodles, dumplings and vegan items. The bazaar offers shoppers a variety of unique handmade crafts and collectibles including jewelry, handbags, hair accessories, clothing, rugs, pottery and wooden items, stained glass and photographs. For 2016, the bazaar seeks to increase the participation of local, producer-only artisans and craftspeople.
