The Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts is now accepting grant applications for the 2016 Creative Baltimore Fund.  The grant program provides nearly $250,000 in funding to local individual artists and established non-profit cultural organizations. The deadline for submissions is Saturday, April 30, 2016.  The Creative Baltimore Fund is a program of the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts.

The City of Atlanta – Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs (OCA) – Public Art Program is currently seeking a curator for the 2016 ELEVATE annual public art program. The OCA is requesting creative and innovative proposals that detail a vision for the upcoming 2016 ELEVATE program, including the development of an overall theme, a vision for programming, and selections of artwork and performers. Experienced local, regional, national, or international curators are invited to submit proposals through March 30th, 2016.

The City of Baltimore, the Baltimore Public Art Commission, and the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts in collaboration with the Baltimore City Department of General Services and Enoch Pratt Free Library is seeking applications qualified artists or teams to develop a permanent public art commission for the newly renovated Waverly Branch of the Enoch Pratt Free Library.

The Maryland Science Center seeks artists to participate in a two-day event on Sunday, May 15 and Monday, May 16, 2016. The event is designed to encourage children to engage in creative pursuits and actively participate in new experiences. Participating artists will be paired with teams of science center educators to develop activities that highlight creativity and tie science to each artists’ work.
