Eligibility: Established professional artists and artist teams are invited to submit their qualifications. Artists must have experience with comparable projects.
Budget: Artist fee: $30,000, Fabrication and installation: $65,000.
The City of Alexandria, Virginia invites artists and artist teams to submit their qualifications (RFQ) to be considered for a position on an interdisciplinary project team charged with providing landscape architectural design services for a portion of Simpson Park. In collaboration with the project team, the artist will oversee the design, fabrication and installation of public art that aligns with the project team’s overall conceptual design and layout for the park renovation.
