The Hagerstown Cultural Trail has released two fast track calls at the links below:
http://www.washingtoncountyarts.com/hct-s — interactive sculpture project, Submission deadline is one month away on 2/15/17 and we hope to have sculptures in place by June; open to artists who work or live within 75 miles of Hagerstown; this includes Baltimore and Washington DC and much of Maryland.
http://www.washingtoncountyarts.com/hct-foh — a photography project, Submission Deadline is 4/1/17, and the winners will have their photos on the Trail when it opens officially in June, open to all photographers anywhere (novice to pro), but the subjects must be people who live or work in Hagerstown and the photos must be taken in Hagerstown.
The information meeting is only a week away — Thursday, January 19 at Hagerstown City Hall. It looks like the meeting will be streamed live (Facebook and on the local cable channel) for those who can’t make the trip, and a video of the meeting will be posted on YouTube the next day. That said, for many artists it is usually preferable to be in the room.
