3 ENTRY MONUMENT SIGNS, INDIO, CA
The City of Indio, California is seeking artists for the creation of artwork, fabrication and installation of entry monument art pieces on three (3) selected intersections. The artwork shall be in a sculptural form or a combination of elements that create entry statements that could be viewed and enjoyed by the residents and visitors to the City of Festivals. The entry monuments are intended to enhance the City’s image and to compliment the City’s culture, history and activities that Indio has become known for.

Deadline: Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 4:00 p.m.
Budget: $2,000 for each art design per location for three selected artists and $80,000 – $100,000 for the proposed art work for each location including creation of the art piece(s), installation fabrication, site preparation, permit fees and any associated cost.
Eligibility: Open to qualified artists. Artists will adhere to insurance requirements as recommended by the City’s Risk Manager and State’s prevailing wage requirements.
