The Town of Cary, North Carolina is requesting qualifications from artists, or artist teams, to join the design team to create integrated artwork for a new four-level parking deck in downtown Cary. The finished artwork(s) for this project should be integrated into the building’s exterior and physical site and should assist in creating an appealing, distinctive, safe, and accessible parking facility that welcomes commuters and visitors to the area night and day.
The Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts is now accepting grant applications for the 2016 Creative Baltimore Fund. The grant program provides nearly $250,000 in funding to local individual artists and established non-profit cultural organizations. The deadline for submissions is Saturday, April 30, 2016. The City of Baltimore ‘s Public Art Commission, and the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts in collaboration with the Enoch Pratt Free Library is seeking applications qualified artists or teams to develop a permanent public art installation for the newly renovated Waverly Branch of the Enoch Pratt Free Library.
This Friday, February 5th from 7–10pm at SpaceCamp (16 West North Avenue) is the opening of Objects of Construction. Opening in tandem with with Station North’s February ALLOVERSTREET, the exhibition runs for the duration of the month and features sculptural work by seven local artists: Khadija Adell, Tiffany Black, Katie Duffy, Annie Farrar, Magali Herbert-Hout, Hermonie Only, and April Wood, and is curated by Allison Gulick.

The UMW Media Wall is now accepting submissions for the 2015-2016 academic year. The Wall is a one-of-a-kind moving image exhibition space located in the atrium of the Information and Technology Convergence Center at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA. The Wall is a large scale high definition video canvas composed of 43 separate Prysm Laser Phosphor Display (LPD) tiles arranged into a freeform array that measures 10 feet wide and 12.5 feet tall. Every month a new artist or group show will run on a continuous loop for two weeks.
