Job Description
Jean Hill Studios is looking to hire a part-‐time Graphic Designer to join our team. Must be an enthusiastic, self-‐starter that is eager to take the reins on various design initiatives. The primary responsibility is website design as well as special projects based on conceptual and visual direction. Our ideal candidate is bright, creative, and excited about the ways in which design has the power to affect positive action. The position offers invaluable design experience, flexible scheduling and the opportunity to build a strong portfolio of work. This individual will work directly with the founder of Jean Hill Studios.
Role Requirements
As a graphic designer with Jean Hill, you will be activated across a wide range of exciting projects. Relevant requirements include:
- Self-‐starter who is able to execute on special projects
- Displays strong work ethic and humility
- Strong skills in typography, graphic design, and layout
- Proficiency with industry-‐standard software such as Photoshop and Illustrator
- Working knowledge of HTML, current development practices, and design trends
- Familiarity with Squarespace preferred but not required
- Displays strong work ethic and humility
- Drawing/illustration skills are a plus but not required Timeline and Compensation
