Call to Artists –Sculptural Lighting Commission
Project: Illuminate / 12th Street Corridor – Jeffersonville, Indiana
Artists are invited to apply for a commission in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to create a family of permanent, outdoor, sculptural lighting artworks adjacent to City Hall, the Clark Memorial Hospital and the Claysburg Neighborhood. The commission desires work that creates a lively and welcoming corridor in an area that serves a diverse, ethnic and multi-generational community. This opportunity is open to artists from the United States.
The total budget is $55,000, inclusive of design, fabrication, delivery and assistance during installation.
Deadline for concept submittals is May 22, 2015.
All submitted and complete applications will be subjected to a juried evaluation process. There is no fee to apply.
