The Reginald F. Lewis Museum is currently soliciting submissions of flag-related art and historical objects for the upcoming exhibition, For Whom It Stands: The Flag and the American People. The Call for Submissions is posted on the museum’s website and is listed as an event on the museum’s Facebook page. Please forward the call to your contacts who are military veterans, immigrants or refugees, activists, artists, and ordinary citizens of diverse cultural backgrounds. The museum is interested in capturing a wide range of stories and experiences, in addition to the objects selected for display. The deadline for submissions is January 31, 2014.
