The Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts is now accepting grant applications for the 2016 Creative Baltimore Fund. The grant program provides nearly $250,000 in funding to local individual artists and established non-profit cultural organizations. The deadline for submissions is Saturday, April 30, 2016. The Creative Baltimore Fund is a program of the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts.
The City of Baltimore ‘s Public Art Commission, and the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts in collaboration with the Enoch Pratt Free Library is seeking applications qualified artists or teams to develop a permanent public art installation for the newly renovated Waverly Branch of the Enoch Pratt Free Library.
This Friday, February 5th from 7–10pm at SpaceCamp (16 West North Avenue) is the opening of Objects of Construction. Opening in tandem with with Station North’s February ALLOVERSTREET, the exhibition runs for the duration of the month and features sculptural work by seven local artists: Khadija Adell, Tiffany Black, Katie Duffy, Annie Farrar, Magali Herbert-Hout, Hermonie Only, and April Wood, and is curated by Allison Gulick.
